‘A Guide to Volunteering While on Benefits’ is the new guidance from the Department of Work and Pensions (and Department for Social Development in Northern Ireland) that we couldn’t find 2 weeks ago.
It runs to 49 pages and is in pdf format, 699kb, at http://www.dwp.gov.uk/publications/volunteering. Written (mostly) in plain English, there is still room for interpretation for example around weekly allowances for full-time volunteers. (Thanks to UKVPM list)
