Civil Society Index in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland umbrella body NICVA has completed its first review of civil society based on the international Civil Society Index, which creates a characteristic ‘Diamond’. Presented at the CIVICUS World Assembly in Glasgow recently, the continuing partisan issues and the lack of impact by civil society organisations on the national budgeting process are some of the key findings.
