Sector helping the community to go green

The new Every Action Counts scheme, launched last week by Environment Minister David Miliband, offers support to community groups, clubs and societies taking ‘green’ steps.
The web site, at http://www.everyactioncounts.org.uk, already includes examples of “how community groups have already taken small steps towards making positive changes for the better” and are looking to recruit community champions. Action packs and how organisations can get involved are still to come.
