Part conference, part festival and part new movement, Chain Reaction will bring together community activists, policy makers, business leaders, young people and people like you from across the world to:
Connect: We are all connected. Meet different people and make new connections to share learning and ideas for building a better world
Collaborate: We succeed when we work together. Work with others to develop new ideas for social action
Commit: We all have power. Commit to taking forward new actions for positive social change and to making a difference together.
The inaugural Chain Reaction event is 17-18 November 2008 on London’s South Bank and will result in new practical projects, new networks and new ways of working.
Our individual actions multiplied by millions of others are a driving force for change. If our individual actions are reflected by organisations and businesses, and supported by governments, then, together, we have the power to change the world.

Chain Reaction is a project of Community Links - an innovative community organisation based in east London. We pioneer new ideas and new ways of working locally and we share the learning nationally and internationally; generating practical social action in other communities and influencing national policy.
