This workshop will show participants how to evaluate volunteer activity in a motivating way using a three-step process for measuring volunteer programme effectiveness.

- the advantages of checking volunteer progress
- how to make communication with volunteers intentional and meaningful
- how to set a performance standard for volunteers
- how evaluating volunteers can enhance credibility with funders and staff
- how measuring progress can increase volunteer motivation
