By monitoring the impact of your volunteer programme, you will be able to make a stronger case for funding, provide intrinsic motivation of volunteers and make recognition more meaningful.

This workshop will show participants how to evaluate volunteer activity in a motivating way using a three-step process for measuring volunteer programme effectiveness.

Topics to be covered include:

  • how to define work so it can be measured
  • the advantages of checking volunteer progress
  • how to make communication with volunteers intentional and meaningful
  • how to set a performance standard for volunteers
  • how evaluating volunteers can enhance credibility with funders and staff
  • how measuring progress can increase volunteer motivation
