‘Volunteer Recruitment Revisited’ workshop

This workshop is for anyone who is responsible for attracting volunteers to their organisation.
Participants will learn how to target key volunteers by developing persuasive recruitment messages as well as creating tailored recruitment material.
Topics will include:
* strengths and weaknesses of recruitment messages;
* the elements of an effective recruitment message;
* planning an effective recruitment campaign;
* targeting messages to diversify your volunteer team;
* analysing other organisations’ recruitment efforts and;
* four things volunteers want to see in a recruitment message
This workshop is designed to be a ‘learn-by-doing’ experience and will involve the opportunity to practice all the skills learned in the workshop, to create recruitment material and to receive feedback on them from the trainer.
